          IDEATHON 2020 - INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Education and its impacts:

Why Is India still a developing country and what is stopping it from being a developed country?

This particular question strikes me every time when I read something about India’s education system .It will be surprising to see how income inequalities are created within the same group of educated people.
Let me illustrate this with the help of an example:

Let us take P be an individual who has had no primary or higher education. His human capital is zero and hence it bears no returns. Let Q be an individual who completed his MBA from S.P Jain College and let R be an individual who completed his MBA from IIM Ahmadabad. The average rate of return for an MBA student is 7.5% (hypothetical). Q gets a rate of return of 5% and R gets a rate of return of 10% due to the difference in the reputation and quality of the management school. Let the income of P, Q and R be 1.In a period of 10 years, P will be having the same income as he does not possess human capital. For the same time period Q will earn an income of (1+0.05)^10=1.63 and R will earn an income of (1+0.10)^10=2.59.

The uniqueness of India is its “Unity in Diversity”, which is visible in its religions, languages and cultures. But in Education is it true??

Absolutely No and is it a major issue? Yes

In India, Approximately Eight (8%) of the population 96 M are disabled.

Do we want 96 M of our population to be uneducated, unemployed, unproductive and left with no choice but to be a weight that rest of us country?

                                                             Or
Do we want them to be educated, employed, productive and contributing to the growth and wealth of our nation?
The ideas in this article are with an initiative called "Saamanjasya" that focuses on sustainability and a better society.
 Exclusive Education (At Present):
The present scenario of education system

Due to the inefficient methods in the exclusive education (see figure), we need to move towards inclusive education.
What is Inclusive Education?
Inclusive education is a process of increasing the participation of all students in schools, including those with disabilities. It is about restructuring the cultures, policies and practices in schools so that they respond to the diversity of students in their locality.

What are the benefits of inclusion?

·        Inclusive education can help to break the cycle of poverty and exclusion.
·    Inclusive education enables disabled children to stay with their families, communities and improve Quality of Education for all.
·        Inclusive education can help overcome discrimination.

EFA-Education for All

This is how inclusive education can change the society too.

At present, disabled people are following the below methods and technologies

Even though the above mentioned technologies and methods have advantages these are inefficientmethods.
So, to provide better education the following the technologies are suggested in the coming future.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE?

CONVERSATION WITH FRIEND ABOUT SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

Last night I had conversation with my friend. she is working with TCS and doesn’t know about the computer architecture and I had explained to her.

Me:  hii, how are you??
Nikky: Fine, how’s the MBA life
Me: Good, it’s busy life
Nikky: ok.what about studies??
Me: good .hey do you know about computer architecture as your were working in TCS
Nikky: No, I don’t know anything
Me: Do you know about the terms application, server etc..,
Nikky: yup..
Me: Good..Basically, Computer Architecture are of  3 types
      Single-Tier Architecture
      Two-Tier Architecture
      Three-Tier Architecture
In Single-Tier Both the Data and application resides on the same machine whereas in Two-Tier the data is separated from application. In this type of Architecture CLIENT-SERVER and CLIENT MACHINES are present. The common data that is used by all is stored in a common machine called the SERVER and each user has a copy of application on their own machine , called CLIENT MACHINES.

Nikky:yeah..but in our office, I think we use Multi-Tier architecture.
Me: Great..I will Explain to you. Three-Tier consists of essentially three layers - client, business logic server and the central data server all connected through a WAN (Wide Area Network).I will give you an example: An ERP product-like SAP, that is used in large number of corporations is a perfect example.

And in Multi-Tier Web browser comes into play between the application server and the user. There is no need to install the software in each system. We can use it  through Web browser.

Nikky: How can you protect these things from hackers??
Me: Firewall servers protects from unauthorised computers. The firewall servers stand as gatekeepers between the public internet and company’s LAN.
Nikky: Oh great,, thank you catch you later bye good night
Me: Good night..
